An Ode to my eyes and some food for thought.

Okay so I’have been up to my neck in work and really can’t think properly much less type a meaningful post so I dug up something for those who have been asking for an update.

This was a poem I sent in during the Ode Carnival at Daddy’s girl’s blog sometime ago. It’s titled ‘An Ode to my eyes” My entry didn’t win. Our sweet and sultry Castle queen's Ode to her bosom won the competition anyway since I never posted the Ode on my blog, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so. So here it goes…

They charm...
They disarm...
They are a window to my soul...
Shining with a lustre when i am glad...
Dull and sober when i am sad...
They are beautiful...more so when lined with dark kohl...
They can be as trusting as a puppy's...
Cold as a dead iced fish's...
They are innocently sexy...
capable of arousing to distraction...
Discerning, penetrating...
they can tell when you are faking
Brown and white...
Sharp and bright...
They are my eyes.

What do you think of my Ode? ;)
Then I also got this in my mail this morning and thought I should put it up. Please read and give great thought to each statement. I did and they really make a lot of sense.

1. Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'
2. A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.

3. If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn't oversleep.

4. Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

5. The best vitamin for making friends..... B1.

6. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

7. The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.

8. One thing you can give and still keep...is your word.

9. You lie the loudest when you lie to me.

10. If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished.

11. One thing you can't recycle is wasted time.

12. Ideas won't work unless 'you' do.

13. Your mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open.

14. The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice.

15. The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what
you might have been.

16. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right and forget
about the one's who don't.

17. Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes
we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've
let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we
forget what's right and wrong. Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means
until it is too late.

P.S: How do i do the blogroll thing so i can get notification when anyone on my roll updates their blog? Everyone's got it already except me. Help!
*DISCLAIMER: That is not my eye above o, although i can swear mine are lots lovelier(wink)

What is it called...??

N,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
The sight of you brings a smile to my face
Your sweet words of love…
They warm my heart and make me high
Yet am not sure what I feel is LOVE

O,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
Your touch…your kiss I crave
My body responds to yours,
The stickiness between my thighs…a witness.
Still am not sure if this thing I feel is LOVE

I,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
Your humour wipes the sour from my face
I feel loved and respected…
Not a single doubt of the esteem you hold me in
Yet am not sure what I feel is LOVE

J,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
Even when I say we can’t be…
The longing I can’t deny
Thinking about what we could have had...

Makes me wonder if what I still feel is LOVE

C,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
I’d give anything to see you happy
To give as much joy as you have given me
You have been selfless, I know
But am not sure what I feel is LOVE

M,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
That you’re besotted is clear to see
Is it True love or Infatuation?
I can’t tell…
I just know that what I feel isn’t LOVE

ID,
What is it called…this thing I feel?
I swoon at the sight of you no doubt
Your sexy swagger…
Irresistible to many a female.
Still am not sure what I feel is LOVE

What is it called…this thing I feel?

THE GAME

I love playing this game

Not just for the fame

The field is home to me

A Game-master I am to be

However the overgrowing grass

And the sprouting weed class

Make playing not easy, not fun

Not fulfilling anymore.

A bigger playing field I desire

Greater skills to acquire

Moving ahead, getting better

Realizing my full potential

To get much and give much in return

As the bible says it, my energy won’t burn.

I love this game to bits

And I want to be a hit.

Coach… I’ve always been a hearer

You say hold on a lil’bit longer

The BIG break comes hither

The field will yet get better

And your pockets heavier

Patiently I have held on

Now its time to move on

This chance to take, I will

The break it may not be still

But a step forward is a step ahead

In my quest for bigger bread

I love playing this game

But not just for the fame…
